If you would like to donate, The Current has compiled a list of organizations that are collecting non-perishable items, clothing and monetary donations to send to Haiti in their time of need.

Yele Haiti
Text "YELE" to 501501 ($5 will be billed to your cell phone and donated to the Haitian relief efforts)

If you would like to explore more organizations who will be working with disaster relief for Haiti, you can go here to see a list of vetted organizations to which you can send monetary assistance.

NSU
Non-perishable items such as water and canned goods are being collected throughout the university. In particular, the Haitian Students Association and Shark Dining will have donation bins this week across campus to send items to Haiti through the Red Cross. The Health Professions Division will have bins to collect food to donate to Food for the Poor. The Oceanographic Center is also collecting donations in Modular 2, Room 125 of the Oceanographic Center.
